Relevance The HRA-19a1.1 Alpha2Alpha1 B cell line is a genetically modified clone of HRA-19a1.1 cells expressing a chimeric alpha2 integrin with the extracellular and transmembrane domain of alpha2 integrin and the cytoplasmic domain of alpha1 integrin. Integrins are transmembrane receptors that are the bridges for cell-cell and cell-extracellular matrix (ECM) interactions.
HRA-19 has stem cell properties and undergoes a multilineage differentiation in serum free medium.
