The anti-5-Hydroxymethylcytosine antibody, clone AB3/63.3, detects 5-hydroxymethyl cytosine (hmc, 5hmc), but not 5-methylcytosine or unmethylated cytosine.  5-Hydroxymethylcytosine is a DNA pyrimidine nitrogen base. It is formed from the DNA base cytosine by adding a methyl group and then a hydroxy group.

SV40 is a simian oncogenic polyoma virus. The SV40 large T antigen is an early protein that interacts with the p53 and Rb tumour suppressor proteins.

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) has attracted considerable attention as a target for cancer therapy. Wild-type (wt)EGFR is amplified in a number of tumor types, and several mutant forms of the coding gene have been found, with deltaEGFR, a deletion mutation lacking exons 2–7 of the external domain, being the most common and particularly associated with glioblastoma. Anti-ΔEGFR [DH8.3] recognises the junctional region of the truncated receptor.

Applications: IHC IF WB
Reactivity: Human
PMID: 23209410.
XPA binds to the Replication Protein A (RPA) and is a core component of the nucleotide excision repair pathway. XPA is involved in one of the complementation groups of the heritable condition Xeroderma pigmentosum, where defects in nucleotide excision repair result in increased susceptibility to mutagens including UV.

Applications: IHC RIA WB
Reactivity: Human
PMID: 2455029, 6197354.
Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA) are highly polymorphic proteins that are involved in the presentation of antigens to the T-cell receptor. There are two classes of HLA antigens, class I (HLA-A, HLA-B and HLA-C) and class II (HLA-D). TAL 3C3 may be used for tissue typing on lymphoblastoid cells, transplantation typing, disease susceptibility and detection of class II products.

Reactivity: Bovine, Human
PMIDs: 18440984, 8264597.
DNA ligase 1 is involved in DNA replication and the nucleotide excision repair pathway.

Applications: ELISA IHC
Reactivity: Human
PMIDs: 24227753, 2986664, 3994908, 6202646, 6362705.
Alkaline phosphatases are phosphodiesterases. The placental-specific isozyme of Alkaline Phosphatase (PLAP) is found in trophoblast cells of normal human mature placenta, seminomas of testis and ovarian carcinomas. The detection of alkaline phosphatase in serum is a marker for ovarian and testicular cancer. HD 11F7 has potential uses in the diagnosis of ovarian and testicular tumours. The antibody detects both Regan and Nagao isoenzymes.

Applications: IF
Reactivity: Zebrafish
PMID: 21857963.
Leg1 is a novel protein of 361 amino acids. Preliminary data suggested that Leg1 (previously named as D12) is involved in early liver development.

 icon-01_Antibodies.jpg                            Anti-dHomer [2F7]
Applications: IF
Reactivity: Drosophila
PMIDs: 18440984, 8264597.
dHomer (dHom), the Drosophila homolog of the vertebrate Homer is an F-actin binding protein. In mouse brain, Homer1a protein binds to the group I metabotropic glutamate receptors and competes against other constitutively expressed Homer-related proteins to regulate synaptic metabotropic glutamate receptors properties.

Applications: WB
Reactivity: Human
Mammalian apoptosis-inducing factor (AIF) has been reported to be mainly found in the inter-membrane space of the mitochondria. After exposure to apoptotic stimuli, AIF is expelled as a soluble protein from the permeabilized mitochondria membrane and translocates to the nucleus, resulting in chromatin condensation and DNA cleavage. AIF mediated apoptosis is caspase-independent. AIF mutants that could not bind to DNA could not mediate cell death.

Applications: ChIP ELISA WB
Reactivity: Saccharomyces pombe, Saccharomyces cerevisiae
PMIDs: 18440984, 8264597.
C-terminus monoubiquitination of histone H2B acts as a signal for downstream processes such as gene regulation, genome packaging, histone modification crosstalk, and DNA repair.
