Catalogue Number 152929
Applications IHC RIA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets HLA DP alpha (DQ to a lesser extent)
Reactivity Human
Relevance Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA) are highly polymorphic proteins that are involved in the presentation of antigens to the T-cell receptor. There are two classes of HLA antigens, class I (HLA-A, HLA-B and HLA-C) and class II (HLA-D). TAL 3C3 may be used for tissue typing on lymphoblastoid cells, transplantation typing, disease susceptibility and detection of class II products.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Bristol 8 separated alpha chain preparation
Subclass IgG1
Molecular Weight (kDa) 33
Myeloma Used P3/NS1/1-Ag4-1
Recommended Growing Conditions RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS
Strain Balb/c
Notes TAL 3C3 is reactive on fixed tissue, reacts to class II antigens and cross-reacts with smooth muscle. Not cytotoxic with rabbit complement. TAL 3C3 detects alpha chain only by western blot and not the dimer.
