Info
Catalogue Number | 152929 |
Applications | IHC RIA WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | HLA DP alpha (DQ to a lesser extent) |
Reactivity | Human |
Relevance | Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA) are highly polymorphic proteins that are involved in the presentation of antigens to the T-cell receptor. There are two classes of HLA antigens, class I (HLA-A, HLA-B and HLA-C) and class II (HLA-D). TAL 3C3 may be used for tissue typing on lymphoblastoid cells, transplantation typing, disease susceptibility and detection of class II products. |
Host | Mouse |
Immunogen | Bristol 8 separated alpha chain preparation |
Subclass | IgG1 |
Molecular Weight (kDa) | 33 |
Myeloma Used | P3/NS1/1-Ag4-1 |
Recommended Growing Conditions | RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS |
Strain | Balb/c |
Notes | TAL 3C3 is reactive on fixed tissue, reacts to class II antigens and cross-reacts with smooth muscle. Not cytotoxic with rabbit complement. TAL 3C3 detects alpha chain only by western blot and not the dimer. |
