Relevance The discoidin domain receptor tyrosine kinase DDR1 (CD167a) is activated by phosphorilation upon binding to the extracellular matrix collagen. It is involved in cellular regulatory processes involving cell growth, differentiation and metabolism; alterations of its activity have been linked to several human diseases including cancer.
