Info

Applications FACS IHC IP
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets CD3
Synonyms T3 complex
Reactivity Mouse
Relevance The CD3 complex is a group of cell surface molecules, present on the surface of T cells and thymocytes that associates with the T-cell antigen receptor (TCR). CD3 plays a role in the cell surface expression of TCR and in the signalling transduction cascade that originates when a peptide:MHC ligand binds to the TCR. CD3 is composed of invariant subchains belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily.
