Anti-dimethyl-Histone H3 (Lys14) [5HH3-2B10]

Info

Applications ELISA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Histone H3 dimethyl (K14)
Reactivity Human and Mouse
Relevance Core component of nucleosome. Nucleosomes wrap and compact DNA into chromatin, limiting DNA accessibility to the cellular machineries which require DNA as a template. Histones thereby play a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, DNA replication and chromosomal stability. DNA accessibility is regulated via a complex set of post-translational modifications of histones, also called histone code, and nucleosome remodeling.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Ovalbumin conjugated synthetic peptide: TARKSTGG[dimethyl-K] APR-(C) corresponding to aa 6-17 of Histone H3. This sequence is conserved in a wide range of species.
Subclass IgG1 kappa
Notes Available in 100ul unit as ascites.
Research Area Cancer, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, DNA Damage and Repair, Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling, Metabolism
