Anti-KAT2A [2GC-2C11]

Info

Applications ELISA IF WB EMSA
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets KAT2A (GCN5)
Reactivity Human and Mouse
Relevance The Monoclonal anti‐KAT2A antibody, clone 2GC‐2C11, has been validated for ELISA, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Histone acetyltransferase KAT2A is an enzyme that functions primarily as a transcriptional activator. Component of the ATAC complex, a complex with histone acetyltransferase activity on histones H3 and H4. In case of HIV-1 infection, it is recruited by the viral protein Tat. Regulates Tat's transactivating activity and may help inducing chromatin remodeling of proviral genes.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Synthetic peptide coupled to ovalbumin: aa 118-132 (CKCNGWKNPKPPTAP) of human GCN5-Long, identical to mouse GCN5-Long in this region. Not present in human GCN5-Short .
Subclass IgG1 kappa
Notes Available in 100ul unit as ascites.

Recommended dilutions: 1/500‐1/5000
