Anti-ESR1 [ER-F3]

Info

Applications ELISA IF IP WB ChIP-seq
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets  Estrogen receptor a (F region)
Reactivity Human
Relevance The Monoclonal anti‐Human Estrogen Receptor a does not cross react with chicken.. Other reactivities have not been evaluated. Estrogen receptors are activated by the hormone estrogen (17β-estradiol). Once activated by estrogen, the ER is able to translocate into the nucleus and acts as a a DNA-binding transcription factor. ERa and ERb regulate gene transcription by direct binding to estrogen-regulated elements (ERE) or indirectly by protein-protein interaction with transcription factor activator protein-1 (AP-1) and Sp1. Estrogens are important for mammary gland morphogenesis and differentiation.
Host Mouse
Immunogen SLQKYYITG-EAEGFPAVT (synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 578‐595 of human ER alpha)
Subclass IgG1 kappa
Notes Available in 100ul unit as ascites.

Recommended dilutions: 1/500‐1/5000
For IP and Gel Shift: 1/10‐1/20
Research Area Cancer, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling, Neurobiology
