HCT116 CDK2-/- cell line

Info

Catalogue Number 156401
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Cyclin Dependant Kinase 2 (CDK2)
Parental Line HCT 116
Disease Keywords Cancer
Model Knock-Out
Relevance Cyclin Dependant Kinase 2 (CDK2) is a member of a large family of protein kinases that initiates the principal transitions of the eukaryotic cell cycle. Mutations in the CDKs and/or their inhibitors are associated with several forms of cancer, making cyclin-dependent kinases important drug targets for cancer therapy. This CDK2 based knockout, HCT116 CDK2-/-, is a CDK2 somatic knockout cell line.
