Reactivity Human
Relevance The discoidin domain receptor tyrosine kinase DDR1 (CD167a) is activated by phosphorilation upon binding to the extracellular matrix collagen. It is involved in cellular regulatory processes involving cell growth, differentiation and metabolism; alterations of its activity have been linked to several human diseases including cancer.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Recombinant protein produced in HEK293 cells encompassing the entire ectodomain of human DDR1
Subclass IgG2b
Positive Control HEK293
Recommended Growing Conditions 37°C, 5% CO2 in RPMI-1640 + 10% FBS, 1 mM sodium pyruvate, 10 U/ml penicillin, 100 μg/ml streptomycin, 1 μg/ml fungizone
Strain Balb/c
Notes Not suitable for WB
Inhibits collagen-induced DDR1 phosphorylation as mAb or Fab withouth disrupting binding of collagen
Research Area Cancer, Cardiovascular, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Metabolism, Neurobiology
