|Applications||ELISA IHC IF RIA|
|Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets||Placental Alkaline Phosphatase (PLAP), Regan and Nagao isoenzymes.|
|Relevance||Alkaline phosphatases are phosphodiesterases. The placental-specific isozyme of Alkaline Phosphatase (PLAP) is found in trophoblast cells of normal human mature placenta, seminomas of testis and ovarian carcinomas. The detection of alkaline phosphatase in serum is a marker for ovarian and testicular cancer. HD 8B6 has potential uses in the diagnosis of ovarian and testicular tumours. The antibody detects both Regan and Nagao isoenzymes.|
|Immunogen||Fresh Hep-2 cells followed by booster injections of fresh Hep-2 cells that have had their surface expression of PLAP boosted in culture.|
|Recommended Growing Conditions||DMEM + 5% FCS|
|Research Area||Cancer, Cell Type or Organelle Marker|
