Anti-SUMO1 [1SUM-1C6]

Info

Applications ELISA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets SUMO1 (Small ubiquitin-related modifier 1)
Reactivity Human and Mouse
Relevance SUMO1 is a member of the SUMO (small ubiquitin-like modifier) protein family. It functions in a manner similar to ubiquitin in that it is bound to target proteins as part of a post-translational modification system. However, unlike ubiquitin which targets proteins for degradation, this protein is involved in a variety of cellular processes, such as nuclear transport, transcriptional regulation, apoptosis, and protein stability. It is not active until the last four amino acids of the carboxy-terminus have been cleaved off.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Ovalbumin conjugated synthetic peptide (C)-EDVIEVYQEQTGG) corresponding to aa 85-97 of human SUMO1. This sequence is conserved in SUMO1 of mouse origin.
Subclass IgG2b kappa
Notes Available in 100ul units as ascites.

Recommended dilution of 1/500 - 1/5000
Research Area Cancer, Cardiovascular, Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling, Metabolism, Protein Degradation
