Relevance The Monoclonal anti‐human FUS/TLS, clone 1FU‐1D2, recognises human FUS/TLS. Reactivity to other species has not been tested. RNA-binding protein FUS/TLS (Fused in Sarcoma/Translocated in Sarcoma) is a member of the TET protein family that also includes the EWS protein, the TATA-binding protein (TBP)-associated factor (TAFII68/TAF15) and the Drosophila cabeza/SARF protein. FUS gene rearrangement has been implicated in the pathogenesis of both myxoid liposarcoma and low grade fibromyxoid sarcoma. Diseases associated with FUS include tremor, hereditary essential, 4 and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis 6, autosomal recessive, with or without frontotemporal dementia. Among its related pathways are Translational Control and Transcriptional misregulation in cancer.
