HtrA3 Monoclonal Antibody (Clone 3E6)

Invented at Hudson Institute Of Medical Research

Info

Catalogue Number 154229
Applications IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Mouse HtrA3 (high temperature requirement factor A)
Synonyms HtrA3
Reactivity Mouse
Relevance Potential marker for preeclampsia. Detection of endogenous HtrA3 proteins in mouse serum. HtrA3 are oligomeric serine proteases involved in protein quality control , regulate signal transduction in cell growth, apoptosis, inflammation in cancer, arthritis, neurodegenerative and neuromuscuclar disorders, age-related macular degeneration, pregnancy-specific disease preecampsia
Host Mouse
Immunogen HtrA3-L-S305A protein
Immunogen UniProt ID P83110, HTRA3_HUMAN
Molecular Weight (kDa) 48 kDa (46.9 kDa plus 1 kDa for the His tag)
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Recommended Growing Conditions Sp2/0 myeloma cells in the presence of 50% (w/v) polyethylene glycol 1500. Cells resuspendedin Hybridoma Serum Free Medium (Invitrogen), supplemented with 10% (w/v) FCS, HAT medium (Invitrogen) and IL-6 (1:1000 dilution).
Strain Balb/c
Notes This clone ican be used in WB and IHC for mouse studies (mice only have one isoform of HtrA3), potential diagnostic biomarker for early detection of preecampsia, used at 50 ug/ml final concentration for WB, 8 ug/ml for IHC
Research Area Gynaecaology, Reproductive Biology
