Applications | ELISA IF WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | His-Tag |
Reactivity | Virus |
Relevance | The monoclonal Anti-HIS-Tag, clone 1DM‐1H7, recognises PET15b vectors, and related vectors but it does not cross react with the immunogen of antibody HIS‐2H5 (MRGSHHHHHHS) and does not work with pAC, N,T,A,B,C, baculovirus vectors. A polyhistidine-tag is an amino acid motif in proteins that consists of at least six histidine (His) residues, often at the N- or C-terminus of the protein. Polyhistidine-tags are often used for affinity purification of polyhistidine-tagged recombinant proteins expressed in Escherichia coli and other prokaryotic expression systems. |
