Flow cytometry histogram: Left panel: CHO-CEACAM1 cells were stained with purified human chimerized anti CEACAM1-IgG1 (5 µg/ml) followed by mAb ivi 6A (thick line) or isotype control mAb (thin line), followed by goat anti mouse-FITC. After washing samples were analyzed by flow cytometer. Dead cells were discriminated by staining with propidium iodide (PI) and excluded from the analysis. Right panel: Indicate bacteria strain was incubated with rec. human CEACAM1-Fc (1 µg/ml) followed by mAb ivi 6A (thick line) or isotype control mAb (thin line), followed by goat anti mouse-FITC. After washing samples were analyzed by flow cytometer.
Indirect Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) Indicated antigens or no antigen were coated onto wells. After blocking with 1% BSA/PBS anti huFc mAb ivi 6A (5 µg/ml) was added. After washing HRP-coupled anti mouse Ig pAb (goat) was incubated, washed and visualized by TMB detection.

Notes Binds human IgG thus can be used as a secondary antibody for human IgG primary antibodies. If were coupled to a fluorochrome or biotin, could be used for detecting primary antibodies in flow cytometry, western blotting, ELISA, IHC etc.

Does also bind human Fc, though does not bind CEACAMs. Potential cross-reactivity with the Fc part of other species not tested.
