Applications | FACS |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | CD11a |
Synonyms | Integrin alpha L; lymphocyte function-associated antigen 1 alpha polypeptide; ITGAL; cell differentiation 11a |
Reactivity | Human |
Relevance | CD11A encodes the integrin alpha L chain. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of alpha and beta chains. This L-domain containing alpha integrin combines with the beta 2 chain to form the integrin lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 expressed on all leukocytes and this plays a central role in leukocyte intercellular adhesion through interactions with its ligands. |
