Reactivity Salmon and Rainbow Trout
Relevance Monoclonal antibody specific for CD3 in Atlantic salmon and rainbow trout.

Background and Research Application
The CD3 complex, composed of four distinct CD3 polypeptide chains (CD3γ, CD3δ and 2X CD3Ɛ), associates with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR). It is found on all mature human T lymphocytes, NK cells and some thymocytes. CD3 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, involved in antigen recognition, T lymphocyte activation and signal transduction.

Anti-CD3 [T1P1D4*C6] is specific for CD3 in Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) and rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).
Host Mouse
Immunogen Ovalbumin-conjugated synthetic peptide- TLEYKDENTNEY
Immunogen UniProt ID A3RK68

Purified using multi-step affinity chromatography with protein A.

Storage Conditions
Store at -20 degrees frozen. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Points of Interest
Anti-CD3 [T1P1D4*C6] was used to help suggest that following peritoneal stimulation the visceral adipose mass in fish likely plays an important role in vaccine antigen uptake and presentation by APCs, as well as subsequent T-cell activation and differentiation.

Ovalbumin-conjugated synthetic peptide- TLEYKDENTNEY, 91% sequence identity with large yellow croaker (Larimichthys crocea), Sablefish (Anoplopoma fimbria), 82% sequence identity with fugu (Takifugu rubripes), snappers (Lutjanus sanguineus).

Recommended Usage Conditions: ELISA neat; Western Blot neat; IHC 1/3 dilution (antigen retrieval: microwave 20 min @ 800W in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0); Flow cytomtery 1/4-1/8 dilution (cells were fixed and permeabilized by adding 100 µl of BD Cytofix/Cytoperm to 1 × 105 lymphocytes for 15 min)

Concentration
1mg/ml as standard
