Anti-Acetyl Alpha Tubulin [6-11B-1]

Invented at The Rockefeller University

Info

Applications IF RIA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Acetylated alpha tubulin
Reactivity Human, Mouse and Rat
Relevance Microtubules participate in a wide variety of cellular functions and research into how posttranslational modifications optimise their function has been a focus for many years. 6-11B-1 is specific to posttranslationally acetylated alpha-tubulins. Therefore 6-11B-1 has been used to identify specific acetylation sites and to understand the role of alpha-tubulin acetylation in microtubule stabilisation.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Acetylated alpha-tubulin from the axoneme of sea urchin sperm flagella
Subclass IgG
Recommended Growing Conditions HT medium
Research Area Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Cell Structure and Motility
