Info
Applications | IF RIA WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Acetylated alpha tubulin |
Reactivity | Human, Mouse and Rat |
Relevance | Microtubules participate in a wide variety of cellular functions and research into how posttranslational modifications optimise their function has been a focus for many years. 6-11B-1 is specific to posttranslationally acetylated alpha-tubulins. Therefore 6-11B-1 has been used to identify specific acetylation sites and to understand the role of alpha-tubulin acetylation in microtubule stabilisation. |
