| Catalogue Number | 151512 |
| Applications | IHC IP WB |
| Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Zebrafish gut absorptive cell epitopes |
| Reactivity | Zebrafish |
| Relevance | The transparency of the juvenile zebrafish and its genetic advantages make it an attractive model for the study of intestinal differentiation and renewal. This antibody labels the brush border / glycocalyxof intestinal absorptive cells (apical ends of microvilli). This antibody is not reactive with goblet cells; thus 4E8 can be used as a marker for brush border cells. |

| Notes |
Suggested Dilution: 1:200 4E8/1 may be used on formalin fixed gut sections of zebrafish. Alternative name: 2F11 antibody |
