Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Ly-49A |
Reactivity | Mouse |
Relevance | The Ly-49A is a 44 kDa, type II transmembrane protein with disulfide-linked homodimers and external C-type lectin domains. Ly-49A is present on the surface of mouse NK cells with the purpose to inhibit NK cell activation by recognition and interaction with certain MHC-1s on target cells. The Ly-49A receptor recognizes H-2Dd and H-2Dk. |

Notes |
This antibody is suitable for functional studies in addition to flow and IP studies. This antibody is not suitable for western blotting. This antibody cross-reacts weakly with Ly-49D but does not impact flow or functional studies of Ly-49A. |
