Invented at BC Cancer

Info

Catalogue Number 160510
Applications FACS IP WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets CD54
Synonyms ICAM-1
Reactivity Mouse
Relevance CD-54, also known as ICAM-1, is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed on epithelial, lymphocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and other immune cells. It plays a role in cellular signalling to stabilize cell-cell interactions and also binds to integrins of type CD11a/CD18 and CD11b/CD18. It has also been shown to be a target for rhinoviruses.

This antibody recognizes the murine lymphocyte antigen MALA-2. This antibody inhibits the mixed lymphocyte response and inhibits Con A blasts to MALA-2.

This antibody was purified from ascite fluid using ammonium sulfate (50% saturation) precipitation followed by DEAE affi-gel blue chromatography.
Host Rat
Immunogen NS-1 cells
Subclass IgG2b kappa
Molecular Weight (kDa) 95
Myeloma Used Y3
Notes This antibody can be used for blocking and functional studies in addition to applications listed.
