Invented at Flinders University

Info

Catalogue Number 160420
Applications ELISA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets A 20 amino acid synthetic Ara h1 (Arachis hypogaea 1) peptide conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH). The peptide sequence is located near the middle region of Ara h1 protein sequence. Ara h1 is a major allergen that causes IgE mediated sensitization in up to 95% of patients with peanut allergy. It has a molecular weight of 70 kDa and acts as a nutrient reservoir
Reactivity Rabbit and Plant
Host Rabbit
Method of Purification Affinity Purified
Notes FORM:
Affinity Purified, Lyophilised

SPECIFICITY:
Specific for Ara h1. Confirmed by ELISA and Western Blot analysis of Peanut Protein.

WESTERN BLOT:
Use at 1µg/ml for Western Blotting. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.

STORAGE:
Long term - 70ºC dry Short term - 20ºC solution or 4ºC with appropriate antibacterial agent. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Glycerol (1:1) can be added for additional stability.

PRODUCT PREPARATION:
Reconstitute with addition of 20 µl of sterile water.
