| Relevance | CUGBP2/ETR-3 is an RNA-binding protein containing 2 N-terminal and 1 C-terminal RNA recognition motifs. It has been shown to interact wtih A1CF. This protein promotes exon inclusion and its activities are required for appropriate splicing in cardiomyocytes. During development ETR-3 is expressed in the heart in both the nucleus and cytoplasm and its expression is down-regulated during heart development. |
