Anti-Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein M 1-4 [2A6] monoclonal antibody

Invented at University Of Florida

Info

Catalogue Number 158402
Applications IHC IF IP WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein M 1-4
Synonyms HNRNPM, hnRNP
Reactivity Human
Relevance Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs) are a family of ubiquituous expressed proteins that bind directly to nascent RNA Polymerase II transcripts and play a role in packaging and alternative splicing of pre-mRNAs, as well mRNA transport and metabolism. The M proteins are pre-mRNA binding proteins in vivo, and bind to poly(G) and poly(U) RNA homopolymers in vitro. the M4 is the largest M protein.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Recombinant fusion protein of the entire human M protein
Subclass IgG2b
Notes This antibody recognizes hnRNP M3.

1:1000 dilution for WB
