Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Human mesothelioma cell line resistant to pegylated arginine deiminase (ADI-PEG20)
Parental Line JU77
Host Human
Tissue Lung
Disease Keywords Lung Cancer
Model Cancer Model
Production Details JU77 cells were incubated with 10ug/ml ADI-PEG20 in RPMI-1640 media supplemented with 2% FBS and re-treated every week. After approximately 2 months, colonies were picked and seeded in a 96-well plate with 10ug/ml ADI-PEG20. A surviving clone (JU777R) was gradually expanded and maintained in 1ug/ml ADI-PEG20.
Research Area Cancer
Growth/Phenotype Keywords Human mesothelioma cell line resistant to pegylated arginine deiminase (ADI-PEG20).
Recommended Growing Conditions RPMI-1640 media (Sigma-Aldrich) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS; Invitrogen), 100 U/ml penicillin, and 100ug/ml streptomycin at 37oC/5% CO2.
