Anti-RgpB (arginine-gingipain B) [18E6] monoclonal antibody

Invented at University of Georgia

Info

Catalogue Number 157694
Applications IHC IP WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets arginine-gingipain B (RgbB) from Porphyromonas gingivalis
Reactivity N/A
Relevance Porphyromonas gingivalis is an oral pathogen that can induce periodontal disease. Pathogenicity is mediated in part by the secreted protein RgbP, a member of the gingipain protease family. RgbP has also been detected in the brains of Alzheimer's disease patients with levels correlating with disease markers.
Subclass IgG1
Notes 18E6 recognizes a unique epitope within the immunoglobulin (Ig)–like domain of RgpB. This antibody is reactive against the protein RgpB from Porphyromonas gingivalis.
