Monoclonal antibody directed against ICOS, an immune checkpoint inhibitor. Background and Research Application ICOS (Inducible T-cell CO Stimulator) is a CD28-superfamily costimulatory molecule that is expressed on activated T cells. It is an immune checkpoint expressed on activated T cells, which has opposing functions in sustaining T cell activation and in Treg suppressive activity. ICOS plays roles in cell-cell signalling, immune responses and regulation of cell proliferation. |
