Anti-CD11a (Integrin Subunit Alpha L ) [NKIL16] monoclonal antibody

Invented at Netherlands Cancer Institute

Info

Catalogue Number 154795
Applications FACS IP
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets CD11a
Synonyms ITGAL; LFA-1A
Reactivity Human
Relevance ITGAL encodes the integrin alpha L chain. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This I-domain containing alpha integrin combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form the integrin lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1), which is expressed on all leukocytes. LFA-1 plays a central role in leukocyte intercellular adhesion through interactions with its ligands, ICAMs 1-3 (intercellular adhesion molecules 1 through 3), and also functions in lymphocyte costimulatory signalling.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Human cytotoxic T-lymphocytes
Subclass IgG1
Molecular Weight (kDa) 126
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Recommended Growing Conditions IMDM + 1% ZAP, 37 ⁰C 5% CO2
Strain Balb/c
Notes Fusion partners: derived by fusion of Sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells with splenocytes from BALB/c mouse.
Antibody recognizes the human equivalents of the LFA-1 antigen.
Research Area Adhesion, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction
