Anti-MAP1B, Polyclonal antibodies

Invented at Drexel University

Info

Catalogue Number 154128
Applications IHC IP WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Both polyclonal antibodies recognise all isoforms of MAP1b
Reactivity Rat
Relevance Microtubule-associated protein 1B (MAP1B) is expressed at high levels during development of the nervous system and is localized exclusively to growing axons. The levels of MAP1B are mostly down regulated in the adult Central Nervous System, but remain high in neurons and axons of the Peripheral Nervous System and may be important for nerve regeneration.
Host Rabbit
Immunogen Two polyclonal antibodies were made one with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal amino acid 1836– 2076 and the other a GST-fusion protein containing the middle amino acid 1109–1360 regions of MAP1B
