Invented by Yee Joo Tan
Invented at A*STAR Accelerate Technologies Pte Ltd

Info

Catalogue Number 154122
Applications IF WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets HA (Hemagglutinin)
Synonyms Anti-HA (H5N1) [4F8] Monoclonal Antibody
Reactivity N/A
Notes The sporadic outbreaks of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza virus have raised public health concerns. Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) against hemagglutinin (HA) have been increasingly used successfully for therapeutic purposes.
Rabbit polyclonal antibody (PAb) anti-HA5-C was used as positive control antibody, in the form of anti-sera raised against C terminal domain of HA of H5N1 isolate (A/chicken/Hatay/ 2004(H5N1)) (Shen et al., 2008). The protein fragment used to generate this antibody contains the residues from 330-505 (H3 numbering) in the ectodomain of HA.
