AAV.hSynapsin.iGluSnFR vector

Invented at Howard Hughes Medical Institute

Info

Catalogue Number 154063
Backbone Size (bp) 4373
Bacterial Resistance Ampicillin
Vector Type pAAV
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets SF-iGluSnFR.A184S
Relevance This plasmid has an intensity-based glutamate-sensing fluorescent reporter (“iGluSnFR”) to be used to visualize the fluorescence change during glutamate release by neurons and astrocytes during in vivo imaging. This glutamate sensor is constructed from E. coli Gltl and cpGFP. This adeno-associated virus under the human synapsin-1 promoter drives expression of iGluSnFR in neurons.
