Reactivity Mouse and Rat
Relevance Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) catalyses the rate-limiting step in the biosynthesis of catecholamines. The activity of TH is regulated by phosphorylation of multiple serine (S) residues. Phosphorylation at S40 is essential for full expression of TH enzyme activity.
