Info

Catalogue Number 153220
Applications IHC
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Dendritic cells
Synonyms DC;APC;antigen presenting cells;
Reactivity Human
Relevance Follicular dendritic cells (FDC), described as embryonal non-phagocytic reticulum cells are found exclusively in B cell-rich follicles of peripheral lymphoid tissue. In the germinal centres of secondary follicles their cytoplasmic processes form a dense network closely associated with the lymphoid cells. Although FDCs have a very dendritic morphology they are not dendritic cells and FDCs are not derived from bone-marrow haematopoietic stem cells.
Host Mouse
Immunogen B lymphoblastoid cell line: HFB1
Subclass IgM
Strain Balb/c
Research Area Cell Type or Organelle Marker, Immunology
