Anti-LHX3, Polyclonal [LHX3]

Info

Applications ELISA IF WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets LHX3
Reactivity Human and Mouse
Relevance Binds to and activates the promoter of the alphaglycoprotein gene, and synergistically enhances transcription from the prolactin promoter in cooperation with Pit 1. This gene encodes a member a large protein family which carry the LIM domain, a unique cysteinerich zincbinding domain. The encoded protein is a transcription factor that is required for pituitary development and motor neuron specification. Mutations in this gene have been associated with a syndrome of combined pituitary hormone deficiency and rigid cervical spine. Two transcripts variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
