Anti-RAD53 [F9-A1]

Invented at IFOM-IEO

Info

Applications WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets RAD53
Synonyms CHEK2 homolog, CHK2 homolog, MEC2, RAD53
Reactivity Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Relevance Controls S-phase checkpoint as well as G1 and G2 DNA damage checkpoints. Phosphorylates proteins on serine, threonine, and tyrosine. Prevents entry into anaphase and mitotic exit after DNA damage via regulation of the Polo kinase CDC5. Seems to be involved in the phosphorylation of RPH1.
Host Mouse
Myeloma Used Sp2/0
Research Area Cell Cycle, DNA Damage and Repair, Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling
