Immunodetection of recombinant IL-22 by the monoclonal antibodies clones L7 and L8 respectively. MW: Molecular weight marker. Lane 1: Positive control (100 ng of recombinant IL-22). Lane 2: Negative control (100 ng of recombinant IL-2B). Both anti-IL22 antibodies (clones L7 and L8) are shown to specifically bind to recombinant IL-22.

M: Molecular weight marker; +: Recombinant IL-22; -: Recombinant IL-2B. Fish number 1 exhibited low levels of IL-22 gene expression (A) and did not display detectable levels of IL-22 protein (B). Conversely, fish number 2 showed high levels of IL-22 gene expression (A) and produced detectable amounts of IL-22 protein (B). The MHC Class II antibody was used as a protein quality/loading control.
