Anti-Developmental Pluripotency-Associated Protein 2 [Z31P3C4*F11] antibody is specific for Developmental Pluripotency-Associated Protein 2 (DPPA2). DPPA2 is a SAP domain protein expressed only in pluripotent cells and the developing germ line. DPPA2 binds to target gene promoters, including NKX2-5 and SYCE1, but not GATA4, and may be involved in the maintenance of the active epigenetic status of these genes. |
