Applications | ELISA IHC WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | PAT4 (SLC36A4) |
Reactivity | Human |
Relevance | The anti-PAT4 [PAT-4/157/D10] antibody is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody against PAT4. Members of the proton-assisted amino-acid transporter (PAT) or solute-linked carrier 36 (SLC36) family have been identified as positive regulators of growth and mTORC1 signalling in flies. These effects were shown to be conserved by characterisation of the two ubiquitously transcribed human PATs, PAT1 (SLC36A1) and PAT4 (SLC36A4). PAT4 is upregulated in aggressive forms of colorectal cancer and a possible biomarker. |
Host | Mouse |
Immunogen | Antigenic amino acid sequence within the N-terminus of PAT4 (REELDMDVMRPLINE-C). |
Positive Control | 786-O human renal cancer cells |
Subclass | IgG1 |
Molecular Weight (kDa) | Approx 60 |
Myeloma Used | NS0 |
Recommended Growing Conditions | RPMI 10% FCS plus HAT essential |
Notes | A monoclonal antibody against PAT4 was created by immunising mice with a keyhole limpet haemocyanin-conjugated, cysteine-coupled peptide (Severn Biotech Ltd., Kidderminster, UK) based on an antigenic amino-acid sequence within the N terminus of PAT4 (REELDMDVMRPLINE-C). |
