Applications | ELISA IHC WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | WD repeat and SOCS box containing 1, WSB-1 |
Reactivity | Human |
Relevance | WSB1 is a member of the WD-protein subfamily. It shares a high sequence identity to mouse and chick proteins. It contains six WD-repeats spanning most of the protein and an SOCS box in the C-terminus. It is a probable substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. It recognizes type II iodothyronine deiodinase/DIO2. There are two named isoforms. |
