Info

Catalogue Number 152729
Applications ELISA IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Syndecan 1 (SDC1)
Reactivity Human
Relevance Syndecan 1 (SDC1) is a transmembrane (type I) heparan sulfate proteoglycan and is a member of the syndecan proteoglycan family. The syndecans mediate cell binding, cell signaling, and cytoskeletal organization and syndecan receptors are required for internalization of the HIV-1 tat protein. The syndecan-1 protein functions as an integral membrane protein and participates in cell proliferation, cell migration and cell-matrix interactions via its receptor for extracellular matrix proteins.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Peptide Sequence – PAGPSQADLHTP
Positive Control ELISA - peptide immunogen; IHC - formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded multi tumour tissue microarray; WB - Hela whole cell lysate. Observed product is slightly larger than anticipated due to multiple glycosylation sites
Subclass IgG1 kappa
Myeloma Used P3X63Ag8.653
Strain Balb/c
Research Area Adhesion, Cancer, Cell Type or Organelle Marker, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Metabolism, Neurobiology, Stem Cell Biology
