Human Lung Stem Cell EGFP-PGK Line

Info

Catalogue Number 152718
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets EGFP
Disease Keywords Lung, cancer, fibrosis
Relevance Putative human lung stem cells reporter line express EGFP under the mammalian PGK promoter. These cell line enables tracing of human lung stem cells during regeneration and differentiation assays after transplantation in vivo.
Production Details HLSC infected with lentivirus pSINPGKEGFP for stable expression of EGFP.
Conditional No
Research Area Stem Cell Biology
Recommended Growing Conditions Serum‐free basal stem cell culture medium containing growth factors FGF (10 ng ml-1) and EGF (20 ng ml-1) (37°C in a 7% humidified CO2 incubator)
Notes Cells grow forming spheres in an undifferentiated state, differentiation experiments carried out have involved using matrices, serum or scaffolds in culture, or in vivo xenografts (Kidney or Lung). Lung fibroblasts (mouse and human) have also been used, however only using primary cultures (not cell lines).
