Info

Catalogue Number 152622
Applications ELISA IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9)
Reactivity Zebrafish
Relevance Proteins of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. Most MMP's are secreted as inactive proproteins which are activated when cleaved by extracellular proteinases. MMP9 degrades type IV and V collagens.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Ovalbumin-conjugated synthetic peptide KAQLIDRGYP (C-terminal sequence)
Positive Control ELISA - peptide immunogen; WB - whole organism lysate; IHC - zebrafish embryo
Subclass IgG1 kappa
Myeloma Used P3X63Ag8.653
Strain Balb/c
Research Area Aquaculture, Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling
