Anti-ADAM17, Polyclonal [17MOCYT]

Invented by Prof Carl Blobel at Hospital For Special Surgery At Weill Cornell Medicine

Info

Catalogue Number 152533
Applications WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets ADAM17
Reactivity Mouse
Relevance ADAM17 (TACE/CD156b) has proved capable of cleaving epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) ligands, extracellular Notch1, cell-surface receptors, and adhesion molecules. As proteolytic cleavage is an indispensable activation event for many of these substrates, ADAM17 has emerged as an attractive therapeutic target for the treatment of cancer and rheumatoid arthritis.
Host Rabbit
Immunogen GST-cyto corresponding to the cytoplasmic domain of murine ADAM17
Formulation Whole serum
Molecular Weight (kDa) ~100 (mature form), ~120 (pro-form)
Notes Suggested dilution for western blot: 1:1000
Research Area Cancer, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Metabolism, Neurobiology, Stem Cell Biology
