Applications | ELISA IF WB |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | RXR gamma (Retinoid X receptor gamma) |
Reactivity | Human and Mouse |
Relevance | The retinoid X receptors (RXRs) are members of the family of ligand-dependent nuclear hormone receptors that regulate gene expression either as homodimers or more frequently as heterodimeric complexes with other nuclear hormone receptors. Studies of mice with targeted gene mutations in each of the three RXR isoforms—α, β, and γ—have demonstrated that RXRs regulate several developmental processes, including cardiogenesis and neurogenesis. |
Host | Mouse |
Immunogen | Synthetic peptide RSRERAESEAECA. Epitope corresponds to aa 215-227 (D-region) of mouse RXRg. |
Subclass | IgG1 kappa |
Notes |
No cross reactivity with RXRa and RXRb. Recommend dilutions: 1/500 - 1/5000. Available in 100ul units. |
Research Area | Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling |
