Catalogue Number 151862
Applications ELISA IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets CYP3A4 & CYP3A5 Cytochrome P450 3A4 (EC 1.14.13.67) (Quinine 3-monooxigenase)
Reactivity Human
Relevance Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes that are a group of heme-thiolate monooxygenases. Cytochromes P450 catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. CYP3A4 expressed mainly in the liver and intestine oxidizes xebiotics that are then removed from the body.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Ovalbumin-conjugated synthetic peptide ESRDGTVSGA
Positive Control IHC: formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded prostate cancer sections. Western blot: recombinant P450 (shown below @ 0.5 pmol per lane). Negative control: Gentest Cat. No M101b.
Subclass IgG1 kappa
Myeloma Used P3X63Ag8.653
Recommended Growing Conditions Dulbecco’s media containing 20% Fetal Bovine serum (DH20) prepared as follows (for final volume of 300ml: 237ml DMEM + 60 ml Fetal Bovine Serum plus 3ml L-Glutamine + 3ml of Penicillin -Streptomycin.
