Info

Catalogue Number 151819
Applications ELISA IF IP WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Rat PITPb
Reactivity Dog, Human, Mouse and Rat
Relevance Mammalian PITPß (phosphatidylinositol transfer protein ß) is a 272-amino-acid polypeptide capable of transferring PtdIns, PtdCho and SM (sphingomyelin) between membrane bilayers. Ablation of PITPß is embryonically lethal. This antibody is specific for both splice variants of PITPß but does not recognise PITPa despite the 95% similarity between the two.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Whole Rat PITPb protein
Subclass IgG
Recommended Growing Conditions RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS + 2mM L-glutamine + penicillin/streptomycin
Notes Antibody specific for both splice variants of PITPb but does not recognise PITPa.

Production yield is high
