Anti-CD11C [118/A5]

Invented by Dr Jacqueline Cordell from University of Oxford
Invented at University of Oxford

Info

Catalogue Number 151790
Applications IHC
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets CD11C, Integrin, alpha X (complement component 3 receptor 4 subunit). ITGAX
Reactivity Human
Relevance The integrin alpha X chain protein (CD11c) belongs to the ß2 integrin subfamily. Integrins are cell surface receptors composed of a heterodimer containing an a and ß subunit. CD11c (the a subunit) combines with CD18 (the ß subunit) to form the leukocyte specific integrin inactivated-C3b receptor 41,2. CD11c is known to be expressed on monocytes/macrophages, granulocytes, activated B cells, in spleen and in bone marrow.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH corresponding to the C terminus of human CD11C: ANGQIAPENGTQTPSPPSEK
Positive Control Human tonsil
Subclass IgG2b
Myeloma Used NS0
Recommended Growing Conditions RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS + penicillin (100U/ml) + streptomycin (100mg/l) + glutamine (2mM) + HAT
Research Area Adhesion, Cell Type or Organelle Marker, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Immunology, Stem Cell Biology
