Catalogue Number | 151552 |
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Lymphocyte Function-associated Antigen-1 (LFA1) |
Disease Keywords | Inflammatory disease; |
Synonyms | LFA-1, Integrin beta-2, Complement receptor C3 subunit beta, CD18 |
Model | Knock-Out |
Relevance | In vivo study of LFA-1 knockout; in vivo study of inflammation and leukocyte recruitment; |
Production Details | An LFA-1 targeting vector, containing a resistance cassette inserted into exon 2, was transfected into 129 ES cells. Properly targeted ES cells containing a homologous recombination event were selected, cloned and injected into C57BL6 blastocysts. Chimeric offspring were backcrossed to establish heterozygotes. LFA+/- mice were interbred to establish LFA-/- homozygotes. |
Conditional | No |
Strain | C57BL/6 |
Research Area | Genetic Studies Tools, Immunology |
