Anti-Cytochrome P450 4A1, 2C11 [Clo1]

Invented by Prof Roland Wolf at University of Dundee

Info

Catalogue Number 151234
Applications ELISA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Cytochromes P450 4A1, 2C11. CYP4A1, CYP2C11
Reactivity Rat
Relevance The CYP2 family are part of the microsomal drug metabolising system that is responsible for oxidation of many therapeutic agents as well as steroids, fatty acids and many other endogenous substances. The hepatic CYP4A enzymes are important fatty acid and prostaglandin omega-hydroxylases that are highly inducible by fibric acid hypolipidemic agents and other peroxisome proliferators. In humans, 4A1, 4A2, & 4A3 have been cloned from liver, kidney and testis and have been detected in renal, hepatic & brain microvessels.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Rat liver cytochrome P450 2C11 and 4A1
Subclass IgG2b
Molecular Weight (kDa) 51/51.5
Recommended Growing Conditions DMEM + 5% FCS
Research Area Cancer, Cardiovascular, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Metabolism
